A phenomenon that has so far been underexposed is corrosion in wet and dry sprinkler piping networks. Depending on the degree of corrosion formation, leaks, blocked pipes and/or tight sprinklers can occur. According to the American maintenance standard NFPA 25, internal pipe inspection is required every 5 years.
